- Someone once told me that some of us are actually afraid of the dark; were scared of what it conceals from us. Were afraid of having something with the potential to hurt us standing right before our eyes and not registering it as a threat. People can be like that too. Sometimes, we are so busy chasing the sunlight, that we forget that the darkness is chasing us.
- There's a place I know so well behind closed eyes, there's a pearl inside a shell from time to time, I come to see if this world still has a place for me. When I put my head to sleep as my mind takes the rest my body needs, that's the time my mind is up and away it goes. We are dreamers
- You know light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until they speak... If you cant explain it simply, you dont understand it well enough.
- Very hard to fly with Eagles when you hang with Turkey's: Turkeys and Eagles : If you really are an eagle, it will be hard to soar when you are spending your time with heavy-bodied turkeys who can hardly get off the ground. Soon, your own flight muscles will atrophy. When you do take flight, you will easily tire, your ability to navigate will be rusty, and your skills at reading the wind and soaring on them will diminish.
- Comes a time when you have to close the chapter. You can't depend on anyone in this world that is dead weight. Because even your shadow leaves you when you're in darkness. The embodiment of the information we choose to accept and act upon has subsequent actions. So if a person is always seeking the company of negative people, negative thoughts, and negative ideologies, chances are that person will have a negative outlook on life. Always seek to be around those who inspire, have a positive outlook on life.
- As we grow and mature in life, we realize that there is a point in our lives that we have to be willing to simply let some people go. Not everyone in your life is a benefit some are just burdens, simple as that. Some people only seek to control you and will use any type of manipulation in an effort to do so. Some will try and judge you and condemn you, some will try to make you feel as if you are of no worth without their help, and some are only in to reap some sort of gain to accomplish their goals...
- There are nine requisites for contented living: HEALTH enough to make work a pleasure; WEALTH enough to support your needs; STRENGTH enough to battle with difficulties and forsake them; GRACE enough to confess your sins and overcome them; PATIENCE enough to toil until some good is accomplished; CHARITY enough to see some good in your neighbour; LOVE enough to move you to be useful and helpful to others; FAITH enough to make real the things of God; HOPE enough to remove all anxious fears concerning the futur
- Nothing is easy, nothing good is free but I can tell you where to start, take a look inside your heart..... There's an answer! Fight the good fight every moment, every minute every day make it worth the price you pay. It's your only way!
- There is beauty in truth, even if it's painful. Those who lie, twist life so that it looks tasty to the lazy, brilliant to the ignorant, and powerful to the weak. But lies only strengthen our defects. They don't teach anything, help anything, fix anything or cure anything. Nor do they develop one's character, one's mind, one's heart or one's soul. You will never find the real truth among people that are insecure or have egos to protect.
- I do believe that this life is a gift, an opportunity to get to know our real selves and when we do, for us to be a shining light for those who are looking for what is real in a world of darkness. We are all perfect with our imperfections! Differences are not that important. Being real is not something you need to, or even can, practice. It is who you are. . Love transcends
