I live in West Texas. Retired from a career that took me to some exotic places : Mexico, Central America, South America, Middle and Far East, etcetera. Some of my projects involved living, for short periods of time in tropical areas where nudity was the community norm. By that I don't mean the beaches at Rio. My proclivities are straight and conservative; my nature is liberal and tolerant. A footnote: I am late 60's, not 50. I did that when registering to monitor who reads my profile before contacting me. Age aside, my health is good and I am physically able to be very active outdoors - canoeing, camping, backpacking, hiking, sailing, etcetera. I am an avid reader and conversationalist. In friendship, I like to be challenging and to be challenged.

Who I'd like to meet
Persons who are interested in developing friendships and value intelligent conversation. Ideally, someone who has an interest in camping, hiking, canoeing, and possibly traveling to places of historic interest. In my book, nudism is a setting, not a purpose. If you live in Texas or the surrounding states, I am willing to do a little driving as an investment in developing a friendship. My Interests
Traveling, hiking, backpacking, canoeing, sailing, and when the weather is cold, even board games. I'm an active person. And flexible. Open to new ideas. My experience with Texas naturist resorts is nill; however, I am not against meeting and spending some time at an appropriate resort.
Movies
I rarely watch a movie. My all time favorites list includes "Fitzgeraldo" "Third Man Theme" "The Mission" - to provide an idea or where I am. Forgot: "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," "Dr Zchivago" (sp?) - this is probably my all time favorite.
Music
Country Western, and Classical - by that I mean the composer has been dead for more than 50 years and probably was born in Europe. Being from West Texas, of course I like Willie Nelson and most everything he produced. Ray Price is also a Great.
