I like Belongil beach near Byron or if it is windy I will be at the fresh water lake near there. I have a camper and 4wd so any beach trips are cool. I have been to Elephant rock resort out near Mogerah Dam and did the hiking trails there. Well worth a day trip to hike and swim.
