Who I'd like to meet

My Interests
Some of my interests are nerdy (grammar, Harry Potter, writing haiku, classical music). Some are pedestrian (beautiful days at the beach, cooking/baking, current events, spending time with friends over a good meal). Some are unique (I'm a freelance classical singer, I've read the first three Harry Potter books in Spanish for fun). I think they all come together to make me a well-rounded person who can hold a relatively engaging conversation on a fairly wide range of topics. I keep pretty busy, but I also try to make time for my own mental well-being. Sometimes that means making new friends.
Movies
I love them. I need to see more of them. You'd yell at me if I told you all the movies I *haven't* seen.
Music
Bach. Brahms. Barenaked Ladies. Didn't see that one coming, huh? But really... I'm all over the map. Opening my iTunes and hitting "Shuffle" could get you an 80s power ballad, a movement of a Handel oratorio, some collegiate a cappella, Lewis Black losing his mind over some political nonsense or other, and a show tune or twelve. It's always an interesting ride!
My Heroes
My parents. Kids who come out of the closet in high school. The kids who support the kids who come out in high school. Anyone (like those I've just mentioned) who is braver than I've ever needed to be.
