Who I'd like to meet

Anybody who has sufficient nerve and self-confidence to go nude is bound to be more interesting than those who do not. So I really do not have a set of criteria of who I would like to meet so much as I enjoy encountering new people in this setting. On one visit to a nude resort, while on a chaise lounge poolside I engaged in brief conversation with a lovely woman nearby reading a textbook. While she and her husband were enjoying some weekend break time, she also was studying, in her case hand surgery. Our conversation was very pleasant and actually made easier by the fact that we were all nude. I was interested in her conversation, enjoyed and appreciated her beauty, charm, and intelligence, all without in any way being tempted by lust or infidelity to my own girlfriend. Neither did it bother her husband that we should have this platonic conversation while nude, as I was introduced to him very graciously when he joined us after some time had passed.Invariably, when a person of the opposite sex is wearing beachwear, the imagination will try to complete the picture by speculating how that individual would look once those articles of clothing, however scant, are removed. Paradoxically, when that individual is already nude, the imagination does not get stimulated, so that the appeal of that person's anatomy is automatically relegated as secondary to who they are as a person.

My Interests

I have a broad range of interests, so I like to engage people in conversation about things in which they are interested. In doing so not only am I more likely to learn something new, I find that people really appreciate a chance to articulate their interests in a setting that permits some discussion and reflection, which is too often missing whether at work or at home.I am interested in politics, philosophy, religion sports, travel, history, aviation, art, music, technology, language, literature, and people in general.

Movies

I like really good humor, drama, action, & documentaries. I love classic movies that have stood the test of time; e.g., Casablanca. I enjoy nudity when presented tastefully, but am quickly bored by the redundancy of porn. Too frequently porn has all of the charm of rutting deer. Since I never want those images to be in my mind, I have no use for horror flicks whatsoever. There really is nothing better than waking up nude and watching an old movie before heading out to the pool at a nude resort!

Music

My musical preferences vary considerably by setting. Most of the time I prefer classical music, particularly the baroque period (Bach, Handel, Telemann, Corelli, Albinoni, etc.), but I also enjoy blues, jazz, rock and roll, as well a wee bit of country, bluegrass, Celtic, or other genres. I believe dissonance should be used sparingly, which rules out a good deal of modern period classical music, and I positively dislike the sort of rap that not only is too often played at a ridiculous volume, the lyrics are too frequently merely a recitation of complaints, always beginning with the word "I", for example:I ain't got, nothin' to saybut I'll make it rhyme, anyway.While this is not a real example, it is effectively the net meaning of way too much of this genre.
