My Interests
We like psychology, nudism, HAM radio, some community service work. Social justice: How is that the homeless in America have become the modern social lepers? We're concerned about governments trying to regulate social nudist events. Some basic human relationship needs: Sam calls this the A's of Healthy Relationships: Attention, Action, Attitude, Aesthetics, Acceptance, Approval, Affection, Achievement, Affirmation, Appreciation, Altruism, Accountability, Awareness, = Nurturing. Ref Amateur radio: You know I've been reading some posts that tends to be 'anti amateur (and other radio) use. I wonder if, within an individual's capability and interests level would include: Amateur, GMRS, MURS, Business, Marine, CB, etc.) I'd like to remind my fellow radio operators that The Amateur's Code written in 1928 is:1. CONSIDERATE: never knowingly operates in such a way as to lessen the pleasure of others.2. LOYAL: offers loyalty, encouragement and support to other amateurs, local clubs and the ARRL, through which Amateur Radio in the US is represented nationally and internationally.3. PROGRESSIVE: with knowledge abreast of science, a well-built and efficient station and operators above reproach.4. FRIENDLY: slow and patient operating when requested; friendly advice and counsel to the beginner; kindly assistance, cooperation and consideration for the interests of others. These are the hallmarks of the amateur spirit.5. BALANCED: radio is an avocation, never interfering with duties owned to family, job, school or community.6. PATRIOTIC: station and skill always ready for service to country and community. Just my thoughts, Sam got into 2 way radio emergency communications, (EmCom) to assist neighbors, community & nation regardless to what bands we're able to operate on legally. 73, fellow radio operators.
