I am awake. I see the threads that spin all around you.I am a self-employed building designer, architectural and structural draftsman. (A building designer is someone who can't legally call themselves an architect, but that is however, what they do.*)I have my own clients/jobs and I also do contract drafting for others. My most visible project is Lola Restaurant/Diner at Yale and W 11th St. in Houston, Texas. (The prices are too high, but the food is good. I no longer do business with the owner.)*Frank Lloyd Wright could not legally call himself an architect in today's world. Go figure.I am from and live in Houston, Texas. I want to move to somewhere between Houston and Brenham, Texas by this coming fall. Alternate location, near Washington, Texas. I could be convinced of other areas with the right inticement. Austin, the Texas Hill Country perhaps?, etc. We'll see.I haven't been to any of the local resorts. I typically have gone to McFaddin Beach near High Island, Texas. A little too risky for my taste as nudity is not legal there, but I do luv the beach. I want to start going to Live Oak Resort near Washington, Texas.I have a larger than average white German Shepherd named Thor and I have a small gray tiger-striped Tabby named Precious. I only drink socially. I would like to quitting smoking. My photo is somewhat dated. I have gained a little weight. Hope to remedy the latter soon. Hair has thinned on top & I now part it on the side in its natural position. I do not look my age. Still young at heart but mature nevertheless. However, I am not into perpetual adolescence either. I tend to date women who are at least 10-15 years younger than me. I find that most women my age, if not already settled in with someone, are jaded. (Those with someone are sometimes jaded as well.) They have had a lot of bad experiences with men who don't understand or know how, to treat women. They don't know what makes a woman tick or how they think. So they presume that all guys are the same. It makes it a little hard to deal with when a relationship starts off with suspicion when there should be trust. If you don't have trust, what do you have? We are ALL jaded on some level, but you can't let that get in the way. Love only comes over time. You can have feelings for someone, but that isn't real love. And, it can still hurt when it ends even if the love didn't arrive. I don't like arguing. Most arguing is over petty crap that, in the big picture, doesn't really matter. Let it go. I am for the most part, an open book when I feel comfortable about someone.Once committed, I never cheat because I don't like to be cheated on.In general, most people either luv me or hate me. Who I'd like to meet
Ultimately, my mate. (Significant Other) Hard to find a mate who is into this lifestyle. That is priority number one. If I get lucky in that department, then socializing. Otherwise, in the meantime, I prefer the company of women. Seriously, I prefer the company of women - all ages. Please respect that. (My last g/f is 33. We very recently parted ways.) This has been the norm until the last 50-60 years or so. (My grandfather was 16 years older than my grandmother.) Women today are also sick and tired of dealing with men who refuse to grow up and still act like they are 20. I do not look my age. Still young at heart but mature nevertheless. However, I am not into perpetual adolescence either. I don't rule out other connections but keep in mind that my priority is finding a like-minded female mate. So please don't invite me to gatherings that are all men or mostly men. Now if there will some single women there, then I will consider it. However, I do like a good movie or documentary. TV in general, is a tool for culture creation, social engineering and government propaganda. There is a reason they call it programming.
