About Deafoldman
Just an old deaf disabled retired man living in the High Desert region of Los Angeles County. I have been wanting to explore the exhibitionist side of myself since I first considered nudism and naturism at the age of 30. My philosophical view of the Universe begins with the most gigantic of all events. The beginning of all that makes us what we are. We are the stardust that is capable of understanding where and when we came from. This Earth is not ours. Rather, we come from the Earth. Or, we don't own the Earth. The Earth owns us, All we are doing is borrowing the Earth for the lifetime we are on the Earth. At the end of our lifetimes, we must surrender ourselves to go back to the Earth. We need to take care of our only home we know in the Universe. It is the only home we presently have. I look upon every creature and every plant as one of my co-inhabitants on this planet. This third ball of mostly iron and nickel, orbiting at just the right distance from a hydro-statically stabilized thermonuclear powered mass of mostly hydrogen and helium, to permit all 3 phases of water to exist, water vapor, liquid water, and ice. This also permits the existence of life as we know it. And I celebrate it all in that I am aware of this as the most beautiful thing I know.... The real difficulty I face now is that of conveying the wonder and beauty of the Natural world in all it's tragic and savage beauty. From the death of animals and whole species being obliterated to the re-birth of life after a major natural disaster like a volcano erupting or meteorite crash. Life will always find a way of continuing, at least here on Earth. The human genome is continually changing as we continue to live on this planet by mutating as a result of cosmic radiation and natural background radiation irrespective of man-made causes or nuclear accidents. We should celebrate our existence with every sunrise through to every sunset. And start over with watching the stars in the night sky through to a new dawn the next day.

Science Fiction mostly, the more cerebral, the better. I have grown out of "Man the Photonic Cannons !!" and other childish efforts at trying to speak techno babble to describe future applications of technology in Cinema... But in the light of good acting , I am willing to suspend reason and go along with the plot.
Music
I am very Hard Of Hearing, but I am learning to sign. And, if given enough of an incentive, I would open up to ASL Like crazy... Especially, when I am with a *patient* person who is willing to put up with my stumbling and fumbling around with signing out signs... If they sign the songs that someone knows how to sing in sign then I would love to be able to sign along ... I am a classical music nut. I love to feel the vibrations of a speaker pounding out any one of Beethoven's symphonies such as his "Pastoral Symphony" or the works of Chopin sitting on a grand piano.... Or even sit on a speaker as Igor Stravinsky's recording of "Rite of Spring"is being acted out and played by nude dancers. This piece definitely does bring out all that is capable of being expressed in a primordial dance to celebrate the renewal of life on this Earth.

I'll have to think of a man or woman who qualifies as a "hero". We are or can be such in different crunches of the moment.
