Escape to the stunning Pedn Vounder, a gem among nude beaches nestled in the quaint village of Treen, Cornwall. Known for its breathtaking beauty and secluded sands, this beach offers a serene retreat for those embracing the naturist lifestyle. The crystal-clear waters and soft, golden sands create a perfect backdrop for sunbathing and swimming in the nude.
While Pedn Vounder is celebrated for its clothing-optional policy, visitors should be aware that access can be somewhat challenging, involving a steep descent from the cliffs above. However, the effort is well-rewarded with spectacular views and a peaceful atmosphere. It's important to note that the beach's legal status as a nudist location is informal, so discretion and respect for others are advised.
Amenities here are minimal, so come prepared; the focus is on enjoying the natural environment in its most pure form. Historically, this spot has been a favorite for those in the know, offering a sense of privacy and freedom unmatched by more commercialized locations. Whether you're a seasoned naturist or exploring the freedom of FKK for the first time, Pedn Vounder offers an unforgettable experience.
So, if you're seeking a slice of paradise where you can shed your garments and your cares, Pedn Vounder awaits. Dive into the embrace of nature, where the only attire required is your birthday suit!
Pedn Vounder Directions
Head towards Treen and follow signs to Logans Rock. Park in the grassy village carpark in Treen. From the village, follow signs to the South West coast path and cross over when you hit the coastal path. Keep an eye out for a small, overgrown footpath that dives down to your left. The last descent into the beach is a 30foot climb/scramble down rocks so please watch your footing. An easier route is along the beach at low tide from Porthcurno, but only on the very lowest of Spring tides, or from the Treryn Dinas end of the beach.
