I have made my reservations to finally do the Houston WNBR after attempts the past 2 years I have a room booked at a house with a clothing optional (nude for me) pool and hot tub. Unfortunately it is 28 miles from the start / finish point of the ride but that shouldn't be a big deal, I still have not decided if I want to do the 15 hour drive, or fly in (free with points) and rent a car and bike. The pros of driving is that I can bring my own bike, drive most if not all of the trip nude, although this won't add any states to my nude driving map since I did do some nude driving when I was in Austin in 2022. The cons are of course 15 hours driving vs a 2-1/2 hour flight of course the usual extra time associated with flying. The pros of flying are of course the time and potential cost savings by using my Southwest points. The cons are I would have to rent a car and a bike and that would eat up most of the savings, and the biggest con is the last 2 times I flew anywhere, I caught Covid so most likely I will drive.
