Northern Michigan Wineries

Return to Discussions

Spent last weekend visiting 18 different wineries in Northen Michigan, along the Leelanaw Pennisula. Had a great time, taseted some great wines. Northen michigan is best known for thier whites, mostly the reislings and tramenettes, but I do have to say the reds are coming along nicely, there were a couple of cabernets that should be very nice this fall. Brought home three cases that we are looking to share with friends this summer.

RE: Northern Michigan Wineries

I've been to Tabor Hill a couple of times. Had a very delicious lunch there. Would like to tour a few more, there are so many in the lower Michigan region, even a few Indiana wineries that I enjoy - Oliver and Easley to name just a couple....
