Hampton roads nudists?
Return to DiscussionsI too have a rec center membership, I try to go several times per week. I often bring my buddy's son along on weekends, we're both trying to lose weight. Often it ends up being weekends only, but sometimes I manage to get there before work. Truth be told, I'm trying to convince myself to go right now. I'm closest to a newer location , but it seems crowded and lax compared to some of the other centers. My wife will join me on occasion, but she usually walks on the track upstairs or maybe in the aqua-track.
I am here in the Virginia Beach area. I have a membership gym membership at OneLife and with the Virginia Beach Rec centers. Wife doesnt ever go to the gym with me.
I live in Norfolk so don't get to use the VB rec centers (I'm a bit envious). I go to Blink fitness on Independence Blvd because it's near my office. It's a pretty cool gym. I'm anxiously awaiting warmer weather - this year I want to find more outdoor stuff to do in the buff. I was wondering if we could get First Landing to allow us to do a nude hike one day. Who's in??

Since you are envious of not being able to get a membership at the VB Rec centers, why dont you message me so we can go to a Rec center together one day. I am willing to pay for your day pass.
I would love to go nude hiking one day at First Landing but dont believe that they ever wouldnt us.
I was at First Landing with the Cub Scouts picking up trash on the beach once. When I asked if I could tour the campground (I had heard a lot of good things about it) they wouldn't let me so much as look. They denied me- at the time a Scout leader who had a background check done to get the position- the chance to even look.
I've never hiked nude, I would likely enjoy doing so very much. It's on my bucket list, but that is one place I wouldn't ever consider even asking. The only place I know of that's anywhere "near" here is Zebulons Grotto, but I've never been there. I would love to find something closer.
Does onelife have clothing optional saunas? Does it have a jacuzzi in the locker room? My current gym requires clothing in the sauna
I do not know of any with a jacuzzi in the locker room but the one on Virginia Beach Blvd does have one and a sauna used by both men and women. So textile is required.
There is a sauna in the mens locker room at the location by TCC on Princess Anne Rd and the one at the Greenbrier location. I have sat on a towel nude at both of those locations.
I currently go to the PA Rd location on Sundays between 9-noon with a Russian coworker. We lift heavy weights and have a good workout. After the workout we shower in those separate showers, then sauna while wearing a sauna hat. Go join us if you can.
