part of Jolly Green SAR
Return to DiscussionsThough I never made it into the country, some of my fellow photographers went as part of the Jolly Green SAR. I was in charge of the photographers of the 601st Photo Squadron out of NKP, Northern Thailand. I was part of the military draft in 1970 based on birth dates, which mine was #3. Some of my friends who left the same time did not come back, so I hold a strong bond on those part of the war.
As the saying goes, All gave some, Some gave All.
