Not too much involved in getting a border pass. Fill in an on-line form (approx 10 mins) and receive a reply in less than an hour ... with your Border Pass attached. It's usually valid for 14 days. The only hard part is keeping track of changes to listed hot spots interstate. Getting back in no longer requires a 2 hour slow crawl across the border ... TG!
