Friend requests
Return to DiscussionsI'm not sure if this is the right forum, but it would be nice if when you call up a profile of someone you found you may be interested in making a friend request that the "Add to Friends" button be inactive or not there if the member is already a friend. I'm sure there have been time when several of us have requested a friend approval only to find out you've done that about a year ago. How embarrasing. What does everyone else think? Is there a place I can suggest this to the webmaster?
Gosh, embarrassed I am. I did realize that you get a message saying I'm already a friend with someone. That proves your point that sometimes we're just friending people because we want a large list of friends. We need to take more time to communicate with the friends we have. Thanks for the heads up.
I've never had a problem with this, so far. My issue is the number of guys that have never messaged me or joined one of my groups asking to be my friend. I assume what they really mean is they want to see my penis. I can never quite decide on a definitive course of action - sometimes I say to myself wtf and accept them, other times I reject without a moments thought. Anyone else have this issue? What do you do about it?
Hay nudeguy I don't have that problem as mine isn't worth looking at.
With the new site You can have your friends listed alphabetically, so you can easily check if they are already friends before sending a request.
I have another problem - when it says "this user already has a friend request from you" (or words to that effect). Ok for say 2 months. But after that the poteltial friend should be offered the option of blocking me or allowing that I make a new request. I notice this particularly as I have a friend in real life who has not picked up my friend request, effectivly blocking me. I'm sure it's not her intention. Like many other popular ladies she does not have time to plough through her pile of requests.
