THIN NUDISTS
For thin, lean, emaciated, or skinny nudists who are envied by others but are shy about themselves in public. You need to be rewarded with love for your self-control, or with money if you're unemployed and can't afford food.
Too skinny, too sad.
Return to DiscussionsHey, I'm Diego, I'm 18yo and I am very skinny. My height is 173cm (5'6") and my weight is 50kg (105lbs). I noticed I'm skinny but it was normal to me. Once, I went to a public pool and I was taking a sun bath when some people started to make fun of me telling and screaming to me: "eat something","anorexic", etc. I felt very bad and I went out. Since that day I do not want to be in places where I have to be shirtless or in swimming suit. However I love nudism and I practice it almost one year ago when I'm alone at home. I have a Whatsapp Nudist group. If you wanna be added write me +573204541069 I want to apologyze because my english is as bad as terrorism LOL.
You are not skinny - slim would be a better description. And you need not feel ashamed to be slim. A body that does not have large fat deposits is healthier than an over-weight body. By the way. your English is far better than my Spanish. May you continue to be slim your entire life.
nah, people tell me that too...eat a sandwich, why are you so skinny...but i'm in the USA, so there are many overweight people and that has become the normal body type. When I've traveled to other countries (which isn't often), I do notice that many people are thin like me. I don't feel bad like I do in America. That's just something us skinny guys have to deal with. I am conscious of it when i'm nude, and feel it more when i cam and the person on the other end is heavy. When i'm with others and nude, it's usually never a big deal. I'll get comments such as "you need some meat on your bones," but generally I am ok with it. I'm your weight too, so I know how you feel. Don't let the obese population dictate what body size the rest of us should be.
Hi all, don't worry if you're slim. I went though something similar when I was young - school friends called me the matchstick man. It was only when I got older and saw those people put on a lot of weight that I realised that I'm lucky to be naturally thin, and something a lot of people are actually jealous of. Enjoy your athletic frame, most nudists wouldn't dream about casting a comment about anyone because of their body shape and, believe me, you'll really appreciate how good you look now when your older. Stay strong my thin friends
To this day i still have people tell me I am too thin. The difference now from all the decades of my life that this has been happening is that I now look at the people who make such comments (rather than look at my own body in a shamed way).
What i have noticed now that i no longer sink into a pool of shame is that it is particular people who say that comment to me.
Can you guess what is common to all the people who tell me I'm too thin???
Yes...it is partly that they are carrying too much weight (by their own definition, not mine). What is absolutely common to all people who body shame others is that THEY are not comfortable in their own bodies.
When people body shame others it is a red flag that they are not comfortable with their own body shape (even if they are not objectively overweight).
Not one person who is comfortable in their own skin has EVER tried to body shame another person. They just wouldn't do it.
So Diego, if someone tries to body shame you, turn it around in your mind and think how sad that they hate their own body.
Be proud in who you are, always! (save yourself the decades it took me).
Finding this group today has been nice (thanks ausfarmlad, I think your post showed up on my feed and brought it to my attention). I've enjoyed reading the recent comments.
I have always been thin and it has had a negative effect on my self-image for such a long time. I'm trying to accept and embrace it as much as possible. In fact, that is one of the main reasons I originally joined TN. Over the past 15 or so years I have gone to clothing optional resorts and beaches and found that I somehow felt the most comfortable with my body when I was naked, in a group, along with others. I guess it is that idea that once everyone is exposed, and you see that everyone has flaws, it is easy to accept your own. (Or what you perceive to be you flaws.)
My joining TN and TS was an attempt to have that feeling of acceptance of myself on a more regular basis. My current living situation doesn't allow me to get naked in public. I still rely on those resorts and beaches while on vacation, but vacations only happen a few times a year.
