Tattoo inspiration
Return to DiscussionsDo all of your tattoos have meaning/significance or just aesthetically pleasing? In April I had a tattoo scheduled and a few days before I had a dream that the artist said "all done!" And I sat up to find he had tattooed a bull, vertically, on my inner thigh. It was a realistic bull profile body with a front-facing cartoon bull head. When I said "that's not what we agreed on" he said "I thought this would look cooler."
Anyway, I told him this story and we agreed we should do the bull tattoo. I couldn't find anything that looked cool with the cartoon head so we just went for realism. We did it yesterday, a quick hitter in under 2. It's my first tattoo that was just silly fun.
My tattoos (back, shoulder, ass, pubic and penis) don't really have a meaning/significance per se. My first was in my pubic area to cover a hernia scar and I chose a solid tribal sun design. The others are tribal type designs, For my penis I wanted something that would "grow" as I got erect so I chose lightning bolts. Here's a larger picture: https://freeimage.host/i/JxzgF4I
