I was born with just one testicle something that I just grew up with never giving it much thought. About age 8 our family doctor suggested to my folks that i have exploratory surgery to find if the testicle was there but undescended . If it was up there it would cause problems later in life.
They did the surgery and did not find anything. I spent one night in the hospital. But that did cause the nurses a scare.

As a kid I did not sleep walk, I sleep ran. I would get up late evening when my folks were still up and climb down from the bunkbed i shared with my 2 yr younger brother. I would run from one end of our small home to the other trying to tell my parents that the bunkbed was going to turn into magazines and records and collapse on my brother. This happened multiple times. Well my folks neglected to mention this quirk
to the nursing staff. At some point i got up and ran the length of the hospital hallway . With a fresh suture in my groin area. I must not have done any serious damage but my mind must have registered the pain. It was the last time I did my sleep run.

I have gone thru life with just one nut. I am still awaiting someone to ask " What did you give your right nut for?" and I would answer, " actually it is my left one that is missing"
