Return to DiscussionsHas anyone else try to join the DWB group on this site? I put a request to join, but never heard back and notice the site only has one member and doesn't appear to be active. I know they have some great activities coming up and wanted to try and connect with some members before I attend. Still planning on attending this weekend's event, would be great if their group page would be working. Hope to see someone there from here!
Check Facebook. I know the President John Burkett and his wife Sharon. Or google it. They have monthy get togethers through the fall and winter. Good group. I almost joined but became a Cedar Trails member. I go to Florida in the winter so i wouldn't have been participating in the group much if at all.
I have met John and Sharon too at the Masters outdoor event , they are good people. I enjoyed that event and joined in on the email announcements of upcoming happening. I just was wondering why you would created a group, and then not let anyone join? It seem like a good place for potential members to connect. DWB is co-hosting the indoor volleyball event in November which should be a nice break from the cold and maybe I can get to know more members and find out more. Have you heard of Dayton Volleyball Event and thinking of attending or will you already be heading south by then?
