It's time to go Catching! Water has warmed into upper 70s and we are in the middle of the spring change over. Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Cobia, Snapper, Tarpon and sharks are all biting just to name a few. If you are not catching fish it's because you are not out fishing. Got two keeper cobia this week, Lots of keeper snapper, and all the Spanish Mac you want. Neighbors all have plenty of fresh fish.

Are you fishing offshore in the Gulf? I kayak fish around Pine Island /
Matlacha. One day the fishing is great, the next day I get skunked.
Mostly reds, a few mangrove snapper, an occasional snook. Still, it's
nice to get out on the kayak, although there really aren't many places
to kayak naked!

Fishing both off shore and backwater..yesterday near shore fishing but went way south to catch 4 spinner sharks, 12 black tip sharks and jumped two tarpon but neither hooked up, dam circle hooks. One about 150 and second over 200 pounds. What keeps you going back!!
