amazing how this site has become
Return to DiscussionsWE joined this site actually 12 years ago, we found it interesting as we had just tried nudism and was enjoying a place to find information and chat with others with the same interest, we left for one week and now have been back for over four years, Well anyway over the years of course we have been lucky to actually met many wonderful people and couples, When we joined we started a few groups and of course still have some going, just places for general conversation and thoughts, we notice over time instead of the groups being general in nature they have become more sexual and things that have nothing to do with just nudism, I sat and looked over groups concerning sex toys swinging and many other topics which are NOT about the simple pleasure of nudism, Have any of you noticed this slow change to a more sexual nature?

Nice to see you here again! Yes, we've seen the change as well. Though we don't join these groups, some of our TN friends do and when they comment on a topic in one of these groups, it shows up on our "Feed" or home page. Not knowing exactly what the group is, I've clicked on our friend's comment/comments and am surprised that they are actually bored enough to join a group like that.
I got schooled by a good female TN friend a couple weeks ago about a group that started and I joined. I think I was bored and hungry for any new conversation between TN members but didn't think to realize the type of group I was joining and what it meant to a good female nudist TN friend. I left the group and had an eye opening that reminded me that "ol' dogs can be taught new tricks!"
My thinking is that the well is drying up on TN and the true philosophy of nudism here is dying off in favor of generating more revenue. Allow more sexual type groups and conversation, maybe it will get new people to join thus regenerating revenue. It's not only comments and discussions in the groups but the un-moderated comments made on people's photos. It's difficult to see the blatant hypocrisy of some members that claim to be real nudists but get involved in purely sexual conversations in these types of groups.
It is too bad that the TN members don't follow their own rules and enforce the rule down at the lower left bottom of the page;
"True Nudists is for genuine nudists. If you are seeking sexual content please use trueswingers.com. "
Seems easy enough to enforce but it is not being enforced.

I agree with what both you and Andy said also, I was talking to someone and like so many things, it all starts at the top, If the TTs were more involved in the site now days or even cared that it had degraded, they would do something about it. I wish there was a good site that actually did everything they could to keep the pervs off of it. If one did get on, they would be given 1 and only one, warning, after that, they would be banned from the site,Houndawg
Their are sites out there now and there used to be others that were all about true nudism. Their downfall; bells and whistles. Chatrooms, galleries, private and public, groups and no moderation, forums without moderation, allow in lots of those that are either here for the wrong reason such as sexual aspects/gratification or they're here for trolling, lurking, deception... it's what draws many undesirables here to TN. Many of those other sites that have remained true to nudism have survived but only because the real nudists seek refuge from places like this one. A site to return to the core philosophies of nudism.
I don't post or comment as much as some do on here but I am on TN 2-4 times a day just looking at what ppl are saying and who's saying it. From what I've seen in the few years I've been on......there are far more on TN for sexual pleasures than there's not!! IMHO of course.
is there a sufficient # of like-minded people
willing to put up $ to create a website more in tune with our interests of emphasizing naturism/nudism
(while excluding the sexual crap and voyeurism).
is there someone with the expertise and experience needed to create it?
does anyone have an idea of what it would cost.
andy, how about forming an exploratory group?

I joined this site over I think7 years ago. I really enjoyed the way it was back then. I met many Great Nudists and sincere people who wanted to learn about nudism. I feel like the TT's have somehow lost their way on what they started. I've lost so many good friends here over the last few months because of how its changed, they just decided the site was no longer what they wanted. Sad to say it but even I am seriously considering leaving the site. The ONLY thing that has kept me here is the thought of losing contact with a few friends here and a few who I hope will return one day. All this said I hope Perhaps this and all the other responses have some sort of impact on the Administrators and they start changing things

As I commented in private, we have just returned from being in a resort in Florida, and honestly it is not just this psgina. In the week we were there we received two proposals to exchange. My wife was outraged. we are not innocent but that kind of thing does not go with us.
The incredible thing is that both times. It was the lady who proposed it. Rosy is already thinking about stopping to attend complexes. although not everyone can be judged equally. have faith!!! there are many beautiful people even in this world! regards

For not being here to comment on forums or discussions for reason of Circle of LIFE, needed to be tended too. Correct there is plenty of other sites to put such crap. Some rules here have been broken by long time members, why they blatantly get away with such, is beyond us. Flow/tide has changed and have NO specific answer for it. Reign in the culprits, stop the bull, and remember why y'all(Teamtrue 1/2) started the site.
