Hey mate Cairns here. Was up at Emerald Creek Falls which is just south of Mareeba a couple of weeks ago. Awesome spot, pretty remote. Was only one other car in the carpark when I got there, and when I saw them swimming naked in the creek knew it would be cool if I stripped off and hiked naked the rest of the way. Give us a shout if you want to go some time.

thanx , just new to the area and looking for places i can get way with it, just tiered of going to cairns for the beach would rather somewhere close to home. Will go for another run down the creek and check it out

Have you tried Valley View Nudist Retreat (I think its called) between Mareeba and Kuranda. Its opposite the Barrier Reef Sun Club.

Beautiful spot there. not a sole in sight. great swimming and great views.
