Playalinda/Apollo Beach

Beach open thru 13?
Return to DiscussionsI was there on the 25th and the road was open all the way to 13. Lot 13 was open although some of the parking lots were still closed. Along the way from Eddy Creek heading north there were places where the road was barely cleared and high sand dunes on each side of the road.
Lots 9-13 have been closed again due to sand washing over road in recent storms. The latest NPS update:
*Playalinda Beach lots 9 - 13 are closed Monday thru Thursday, until mid-October, for sand relocation from roadway. Parking lot two is temporarily closed Mondy-Thursday and open Friday thru Sunday."
