Playalinda/Apollo Beach
A group for those of us that like to go to Playalinda and Apollo Beach on the east coast of Florida.
9/25-9/27 Staying in New Smyrna. Plan on visiting Apollo for the first time and Playalinda once during the weekend.
Return to DiscussionsI am going to be staying in New Smyrna this weekend for the Daytona races. I will be driving up early Friday morning and may stop at Playalinda on the way. Saturday morning, and/or maybe Sunday morning I want to check out Apollo since I can get there first thing in the morning and stay until noon or so. This will be my first time at Apollo.

With no clothing at the beach and a minimal amount at the races, packing should be easy!

If I leave here shortly after 4 am, I plan on driving up nude, but yes a pair of shorts and a couple shirts should do it

I thought you said that you probably wouldn't wear a shirt at the track.
Why bring more than 1?

Is the parking lot at either beach in the clothing optional zone?
I have to make a few stops on my way home. Pick up some groceries and stuff, plus I will stop to get something to eat on the way to the track. I will probably wear a t shirt or tank top and if it feels too warm take it off.

So the track lets spectators bring in food instead of buying it there? Most sporting venues around here don't
Having both a t and a tank is a good idea.
If I lived in Florida it would almost always be too warm for a shirt.
From what we have read the clothes optional starts on the beach. The last time we were there (May 2023) we exited the car and we saw a topless lady headed into the rest room. We loaded up the beach wagon and as we turned onto the boardwalk a guy at the end was slipping on a cock and ball sleeve and tying its string then walked toward us. So I think the beach is where you get naked and must be clothed for the bathroom and parking area.
