Had a great visit to Playalinda today. Got there around 10:00, set up my chair, stripped, and went for a 40 minute run north into the backcountry with nothing but my phone and car keys in an armband. Still an amazing feeling of freedom to be so far away from any clothing! There was still plenty of parking at 13 when I got there, but it was full by the time I left a little after 1:00. The weather cooperated and didnt rain at all. The sun broke through a few times, and I was thankful for having my umbrella, but not for the reason i expected. Met a few nice people there today. Wish I could have stayed longer, but I didnt bring a lunch or put on sunscreen and was feeling the need for both.
