Ontario Naturist Network
Hi all I see there is no group for Ontario naturist networking. There's a BC group, so hey, what about us, the most populous province in Ontario! Looking to create a site where like-minded couples and singles can share info, have group get-togethers, etc. We may be able to organize group trips at a discount (thanks to numbers), etc. I myself am a member of the Ponderosa Nature Park, north of...
What to do with our group
Return to DiscussionsHi all
First of all, my apologies. Having started this group, I must confess to being MIA (missing in action) for a while. Much has transpired personally. I see we have a nice "critical mass" of people for our Ontario network, so it's time to find out what people want. First of all, I'm a no-nonsense type of guy; I believe in cutting to the chase. I can see from our membership list that there are varying goals and aspirations, so I think wemust befrank and clear and use this site to round out out expectations. From what I can see we have singles (both straight and gay), as well as couples. Obviously, we all have a common interest in the nudist lifestyle; that is our universal bond. Within that common bond we have various sub-groups, all of which I would like to accommodate.
There are those who simply want a heterosexualsocial network. There are also those who have a gay or bi-sexual orientation. There are those who are into the swinging lifestyle and enter it through nudism sites. I am a non-judgemental person. I really don't have a moral position on where you're "at" or what you want, but what I do believe passiionately in honesty. I will not tolerate "predators." People matter. They are to be enjoyed, not used. Therefore, I think it isimportant for everyone on our list to acknowledge what they are seeking. Again, this is non-judgmental; it's simply functional. In manhy cases, our goals and aspiriations may overlap, e.g., because someone is gay and interested in gay relationships does not mean they arenot also interested in meeting and socializing with heterosexuals. By the same token, "swingers" may also be interested in relating sociallly to non-swiniging indiviuals. But we need to be "straight" about that. To me, dealing with people fairly and honestly is what a social network is all about. In this regard, we may want to create several "sub groups" to our main network. What do the rest of you think? It's your site and your group, but in my view honesty and frankness should by the bywords. Let me know what you think.

Yes Frankness and honesty is neccesary. We should use this group to arrange meet and greets to get to know all the members at a personal level. Personally because of medical reasons (shoulder surgery Jan. 4) We are out of action until April. Now is a good time to set up a nude gathering. Whether at someone's home (farm would be great) or at a Nudist Park (I recommend Bare Oaks www.bareoaks.ca) let's set up a date.
