This group is for all those who love seeing nudity on film or TV, either seeing actors and actresses naked or group scenes of nudity. There is often a sexual component to much film nudity. This is about the nudity and body exposure or natural expression of nudity, rather than the sexual intent. Return to DiscussionsA recent episode opened with a maid discovering a dead nude body in a hotel bathroom. Obviously no full frontal this is primetime TV, but the body was shown from the side bare head to toe. What I want to know is how do you go about get cast into a cameo role like that? Imagine being nude or nearly so on a studio set with the cast and crew around.
I have read that some actors feel more conspicuous with a small cover, so they do the scene nude.
Similarly, some actors don't cover during breaks between takes. Their logic is that everyone on the set has seen it while filming, so why bother with the cover-up?

There was an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, where John de Lance was on the set totally nude.
I believe that the subtitle was Q: Who. Q, had been stripped of his powers und had been dropped on the bridge of the Enterprise stripped naked. He'd been given a jock strap for "modesty." But every time that they tried to shoot it the jock strap was visible.
John eventually said, "whoever wants to stay can stay. Whoever wants to leave can leave." He waited a minute. Took it off und did the shot.
He told us that a convention in Tampa years ago.

I just saw a clip about a Star Trek episode where the captain dreamed he reported to the bridge nude. The costume people had given him a modesty cloth, but he choose to embellish it with oversize cock and balls. The laughter from the other cast members was real when he entered.
