Nudists Wardrobe

Even nudists have to wear clothes sometimes. Is it the bare minimum? Is it see-through, skimpy or barely legal? And what fun do you have wearing it?

Smallest Wardrobe

Return to Discussions

Who has very little clothing?
If you do. list what you have and let's see who has the shortest list.
While mine is not that small, I will post it to get things started.
1 suit jacket
2 dress slacks
2 cargo pants
1 sweat pants
3 swim suits
7 shorts
5 sleeveless shirts
14 t shirts
10 collared shirts
2 sweaters
2 sweat shirts
Bottoms are probably at my minimum, and may even need to add a pair or 2 of jeans when the weather gets cooler.
Don't really need that many shirts, but all of the tanks and ts and a few of the collared shirts have a message or logo of significance to me.

Oh Minimalist. You still have too many clothes for a nudist

While I do have a lot of clothes compared to you and some others, when I travel for 3+ weeks in mostly textile locations, it comes in handy. Also wheo our grandson comes for an extended visit, like he does every summer and will be doing starting tomorrow since school is closed for a month!

Yes, only four over the 25 and they won't last long. The list of 25 items retained is:DJ and 2 dress shirtsSuit1 trousers1 jacket1 jeans5 T shirts3 sweaters3 shirts2 mini kilts (12")5 other kilts (of which 2 are adapted for flying) (18" to 20")I have to keep some formal clothes but mostly I wear T shirts etc., hence the mix.So, if I'm not mistaken, I got rid of the following 24 items:1 trousers1 jacket2 shorts6 T shirts3 sweaters5 shirts5 mini kilts2 other kiltsand some cloths

Since you have on one each of jacket, trousers and jeans, I would suspect you wear them relatively often and they will wear out sooner rather than later. Have you had to replace anything with no increase in item count yet?

The quote was from 7 months ago. Who says I wear anything more than I have to? The jeans get the most wear and, without underwear, they are washed twice a week. Jeans are tough though they are getting slack with a tendency to fall down.

I thought you wore everything as little as possible. I just thought that after 7 month of having only one of some items . they might be wearing out.
One admittedly stale curiosity question, if you don't mind.
You noted having 2 dress shirts, 3 t shirts and 3 shirts with no description. What kind are they?

Someone posted on my retirement thread that when he retired he moved to Costa Rica and reduced his wardrobe to 1 pair slacks, 2 pair of shorts, 1 swimsuit, 1 pair of sandals and a few t-shirts. I suggested he post here also but he has not. Certainly among the smallest wardrobes.

Has anyone who posted here in the past reduced their wardrobe recently?

Donated an almost new pair of jeans and stRIPped off my oldest tank top, t shirt and one of my 2 swimsuits.

Haven't reduced count but have marginally reduced volume.
Got 2 pair of 5" gym shorts and got rid of one 8" pair and a t shirt.
Just got a 3" pair of gym shorts yesterday.
They are too short to wear to the gym, but great for yard work and when I have to wear something at home.
Plus they have a notch on the side for better leg freedom of motion.
The pockets stick below the hem if you put something in them.
Remind me of the shorts I wore 30+ years ago.
However, then I usually wore briefs so I couldn't fully appreciate the comfort of short shorts!

I am a total non-competitor in this as I tend to wear different items from my wardrobe which range from a dinner suit to rough working jeans for different public occasions. I would find it difficult to do without any of them without inhibiting my lifestyle.
