Anyone here goto Sunnyrest or beachwood?
Return to DiscussionsI like going to Sunnyrest and would like to visit Beachwood. Unfortunately, my wife does not like to go, but is ok with me going.
I have been to Sunnyrest a few times. Would like to get a group or couple friends who would like to go sometime.
Anyone interested?
Looks like you guys are north of Sunny Rest about equal to how far south I am.. .. I do like being theremyself. Happy to meet up too. Hiking the nature trail is quite nice also. I am planning on being there the Wine tasting weekend and was thinking of going at least a few times tooduring other weekends and even during the week. Never been to Beachwood.. Do you have information about that place too? Thanks Steve
Beachwood is a quiet laid back kind of place. It's been a few years since we've been there so can't update you but if it's the same as when we used to go, you will enjoy it. We've never been to, but from what we've heard about SR, Beachwood is most likely a polar opposite.
That sounds nice too .. Happy to meet and connect with other TN folks.. Thanks for the Beachwood info too. It sounds great.. I like that kind of place a lot.I like places like that where you can relax and be in nature with a smaller crowd too. There is a place nearer to me that is like that also. Steve
We are members at Sunny Rest and go whenever we have a chance. We will be there from July 3rd through the 12 so if you are there over that time, be sure to look us up. We tent camp adn set up next to the gravel road next to Irv's Driveway. Big orange / tan / brown tent and a green canopy. Stop by and say "hey".
I go every now and then, but I'm not a member so I normally wait for special events to reduce the cost of entry. I don't know a lot of nudists outside of the internet either, so I get the new kid at school feeling where everyone's in their cliques and I'm there not knowing who to talk to.
you know what, thanks for posting this. I've been trying to put words to how I feel now that I've begun going to resorts and socializing, but havn't been a ble to. This is exaclty it!.
I'm not too far south of SR, about half an hour. I enjoy going and just relaxing. The trails are always pleasant to hike. I plan on going to the wine fest in August and would welcome some company too.
Next time I'm up to SR I'll look for your tent KCandRC. It's always a pleasure to get to know other nudists.

I have never been to Sunny Rest. Living in west/central PA, it was closer for me to travel to Avalon in WV. It's a great resort and the members are very welcoming and friendly. I am hoping to visit White Thorn Lodge next month for their nude 5k and Color Run. It's the same day as the world record skinny dip. Hope to make some new friends there too.
Just joined and found this topic. I have been to both. Beechwood does not have all the amenities as Sunnyrest but is friendly and pay attention to their activities. I Usually go to SunnyRest because the pool is outside and they have trails to walk.. I also haven't gone to often lately because my wife was ill and since passed away so I am alone and it just isn't the same to go alone. I could meet you there on almost any given Sunday or Monday (my weekend) if you would like.
