Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas
Return to DiscussionsThe NCL ship Im on will be making a stop at their private island, Great Stirrup Cay. Does anyone know if any section of the beach there is CO, or if there are any more secluded areas/coves where nudism might be possible?
As info, this is not a nude cruise Im on. However, it is all adult (no kids), and our ship will be the only one there.

That Cay is quite small and is not technically c/o but as it's an adult only cruise I would imagine that you could find a spot there where you could lie and or swim naked without a problem. You might even run into some others with the same thought. I don't think the cruise company cares as long as no one voices dissent. Most people are more involved with themselves than in what others are privately doing.
Thanks for the quick replies, guys! I have a feeling at the very least, Ill manage to wade out into the water and slip off the bathing suit for a swim. But maybe Ill get lucky and find a secluded spot or a spot where others are stripping down on the beach, too.
Until then, Ive managed to enjoy some private nude time on our balcony.

After my last Norwegian cruise, As part of the after cruise survey, I suggested that since the shop had 2 adults only deck areas, one of them should be clothing optional. I didn't get a response.
Circling back now that Ive been, I didnt see a way to enjoy any nudity on the island. It was covered with life guards, there were zip lines overhead, and the beach was crowded. Anywhere remote that the life guards couldnt see was roped off. So from a nudity standpoint, it was a total bust.
