Nudist Pageants
Nudist beauty pageants are often frowned upon by naturists as they are often seen as a form of exploitation of women. Nevertheless, they were a part of organised naturism for a long time, and continue to be organised in some resorts and clubs. This group provides a platform for the exchange of views on beauty pageants. Pictures or videos of pageants are also welcome.

Return to DiscussionsYes of course. There are miss nude America, miss nude Australia and miss nude Canada elections, although one could argue that these are not naturist pageants. But some naturist resorts do pageants as well. The resort of Koversada in Croatia for instance elects a miss (and a mister) Koversada every year. I imagine other resorts do so as well.
I have no idea what kind of prize money they offer. For the kids contests at clubs, they get a crown and a sash I guess , and the honor of knowing that at age 12 they were hot enough to beat the 16 yr. olds and get some very lusty looks from the leering male judges who found them to be more erotic in body and showing. I've never seen a 'talent' contest part of the contests !!!

Human body is beautiful.
And if somebody is very beautiful and wants to show it - and others want to see it - there's nothing wrong with it.
Nude beauty is true beauty - so nude contests are the only ones that truly show beauty.
Yes, not everybody has chances to win... But it's related to each and every contest in the world. Contests don't promote equality, they do promote ideals.
I never understood why they are necessarily controversial unless they're done in some kind of abusive or exploitative way but I don't think they are automatically those things. Nude human bodies are beautiful and it's wonderful to appreciate that and to tell others they are beautiful too.
