Suits
Return to DiscussionsU think i have a suit fetish. I have more than I can count...sexy suits 6. Thongs a few. Trunks maybe 10 or 15 pairs.....lol
Let's see...I had to go and count for this post:
* Shorts: 1. Unlined patterned mesh frequently for use as a beach coverup, whether over a suit or nothing, so mentioned here. 2" inseam an split almost to waistband (Skinz A14).
* Trunks: 3. Yet to be worn. One bought a few years ago from an outlet clearance table in case I needed it - not yet. Two Skinz trunks, one patterned mesh, one yellow and likely to be sheer when wet, but untested yet. Supposedly for me becoming more conservative in my old age!
* 3" waistband: 1. A design that is halfway between a swim brief and shorts (Skinz M19U). Unworn, but I've been meaning to give these a run. Perhaps next week. My first swim brief as an adult was a basic black store-brand 3" design after my girlfriend (now wife) insisted old Stubbies shorts did not cut it as beach wear in her company. I think she unleashed a monster...
* 2": 3. The oldest one I still have was bought in Hawaii on our honeymoon. I was already looking for something briefer but did not find it in HI. :-( Nice
bright pastel colours, though, in a floral pattern and still wearable. One of the others is a red, white and blue Koala suit, which I think works as well for Australia as it does for the USA!
* 1": 9. Mainly Homs (all lined, all sleek, one in lime green that's sheer when wet) and one unlined one with a shaped pouch that allows a little bobbing when walking, from a small-time Australian company that wasn't around when I went back.
* 3/4": 13. Various brands here, mainly Skinz and Koala. Perhaps half unlined but none are really sheer. Wearable anywhere as far as I am concerned.
* 1/2": 19. More brief, as overall coverage tends to correlate with side thickness. Mostly unlined, some more adventurous including pouches that only cover the minimum or with a shaped pouch or sheer. From Skinz, Dore & Koala in the main.
* 1/4": 11. Some are thin straps, some are strings. Skinz & Koala again. Some Brazilian, some low, many bright or shiny, even.
* Thongs & G-strings: 10. From a 3/4" thong to a tie-side number. The oldest one, a Hom with 1/4 sides is fun in the light surf as its not particularly tight, but somehow the pouch stays in place. Mostly. Others are mainly Koala. More creative pouches among these, too.
* Sock style: 3. Just to cover the package and nothing else. Except the one that exposes the glans. Along with a testicle on either side. All Koala. All yet to be worn out. A bonus one thrown into an order from Koala is technically a thong but covers nothing to speak of.
* Home made: 2. My attempt, before internet, to get a briefer suit. Concept was not matched by sewing ability. So much choice now. My downfall.
* Frederick's of Hollywood G-strings: 3. Bought by my wife on a business trip to the USA once. Not technically swimwear, but I wore the fishnet one in the surf once and the experience of being held yet exposed to the currents was amazing, so it deserves a place here.
So, in total, that's 85. Not parting with them! Just need more trips to the beach!
I bought a lot of swimsuits over the years, but a lot of them I didn't like so I didn't keep them long.
Before we put the fence around the pool, I had some very brief tangas to wear in the day time when we didn't have company. Also at least 2 thongs, but decided I didn't want to be that exposed when the neighbors could see, I also had at least 2 each of swim shorts and briefs because I didn't want to put a damp suit on if I swam twice in one day.
Now I just have 2, one briefs and one short swim shorts.
The briefs are for when only our grandson is here or vacations, the shorts for non-clothing optional beaches or when we have company. Both are tan through and dry quickly
