Another use for tan-through swimwear
Return to DiscussionsMy wife and I use tan-through swimwear for swimming at textile hotel indoor pools.
The reason for this is twofold. They are usually more comfortable to swim in than Lycra and they dry incredibly quickly. Simply roll them in the hotel's towel immediately after drying yourself and by the time you have dressed they will be dry enough to take back to your room in your pocket.
No more dripping swimsuits over the bath.
I buy from a British company named Kiniki. Lots of choices. Sign up for their emails which have sales that range from 50% to 65% off. I have found that I have to order 1 or 2 sizes larger than I normally would because they do tend to run small. Read the reviews on the style before ordering. A lot of the reviewers will state if they had to order larger sizes.
Bought 3 kiniki suits.
MIcro brief is a little too revealing as the front shows everything above the base of my cock and the reas exposes several inches of crack.
Deep waist brief is good for places where I have previously worn a speedo solar and swim shorts will be fine when I think I need more coverage.
I do have 2 questions.
Is the small liner in front needed to keep the suits from being too revealing? If not, I will probably remove them.
Has anyone worn the suits for yard work? The lightweight material and reduction of tan line at the waist are appealing, but I am afraid that they would wear out quickly and/or tear easily since they are so thin and delicate.
Minimalist - I've removed the liner from the shorts about six months ago as I found it to be uncomfortable and then worn them as regular shorts without any problems so far - neither from snagging and tearing nor from any see-through properties in a textile environment. As far as the latter is concerned my wife is a hanging judge and would have informed me in no uncertain terms.
I found the swim tangas to be the best fit for me as the minimal briefs looked ridiculous on me and my wife refused to countenance them.

Looks like the tangas actually do a better job of covering the pubes and crack than the minimal briefs, even though they show more on the side.
Do you agree?

I totally agree and I have fount them totally acceptable in all the places where I have worn them in public.
So far these are several hotel swimming pools , the sunbathing terrace of a textile boutique holiday hotel and the busy town centre beach in front of the hotel.
Again, my wife made absolutely no objections and she would certainly have told me is there was the slightest degree of inpropriety.
