Not much of an answer for you, I'm sure others here can telly you more than I, but I joined this group (and this website) for pretty much the sole purpose of finding more places to hang out nude and others to hang out nude with, so I wouldn't be alone. To that end -- Not Much Formally in NC, it seems. There are a few places resorts, but not many and with mixed reviews (at least in my part of the state). I have taken to going down to Serendipity in Georgia, which is wonderful and I highly recommend it, but it is a heck of a long drive. I'm told Carolina Foothills Resort in Chesnee, SC is nice, but I have not been there yet myself.
The best thing I've found and enjoyed is a few wonderful, kind, fellow nudists willing to host and let others hang out. I've enjoyed some wonderful HON time with several people now, stripping down, sipping wine or coffee and having some of the best conversations. I've made some very good friends. Few things help you relax and talk then sitting naked and sharing experiences in life.
Not sure if that's much help, but I understand wanting to know, and that's what little I have to share so far.
