I believe that most quarterbacks can thrive in the Chip Kelly system. It's kinda like how Joe Montana thrived in the West Coast offense. I believe it was the West Coast offense that made Joe Montana great. Add to the fact that Joe Montana was extremely smart!! I'll take a smart quarterback over a physically gifted one ANYDAY!! Another case in point, JaMarcus Russell. He could throw the ball 70 or so yards ON HIS KNEES!! but he didn't have the brains to go with his physical attributes. Joe Montana had just so-so athletic ability but was smart!! He has the rings to prove it!!

Would like to add to my own thread by saying RG3 is the most recent example of a quarterback that relies solely on his athletic ability and we can all see where that's leading to!!
I agree on several points. A good system and game plan including really well designed plays is a good thing and so far Chip seems to be bringing all those things to our city. Its fun again.
I like foles because he seems smart, learns and improves. But...he's really giving the ball away and has made some dumb mistakes. But then, I'm not staring down 300 pound monsters charging at me to crush my body to the ground. I would give Foles another full season to improve, maybe more as QBs need time to develop.
Sanchez is a solid QB. Not super but solid. With a good system and more importantly a good O line and defense, he should do just fine. Still have no prediction on how far we can go as injuries keep happening.
No matter what, It great to be an Eagles fan. I can respect the team and they are playing hard.
