Next To Nude Attire 4 Compliance

This group is for when you must meet minimum requirements for being clothed. Many places in cities people are allowed to wear skimpy lingerie and or kinky micro thong bikinis in order to be considered clothed. Here you can post your pictures of at least wearing a cotton swab, even the nude bike ride in San Diego requires a piece of electrician tape over a nipple in order to pass nudity laws. Some...

Tan-Through Clothes

Return to Discussions

Morning all. Any experiences with tan-through clothes? I recently purchased a pair of tan-through swim trunks, they are awesome and very comfortable and cool. My concern is that they are also see through especially in the right light. Therefore I haven't tried wearing them in public yet.
Any thoughts or recommendations?
Thanks

What is the problem ? So some pretty people see your, how do I put it? Package, plumbers butt, your pride an joy. Tell them you are modeling for a magazine. And I am trying to get rid of my tan line. Aha Aha Maybe. I went to a swimming hole. Guess what ripped open. No No not the back the front , in the middle. No liner, What is that cool breeze? Oh F--- ! I still had a mile hike back to camp.

I've worn tan-through swimwear many times. No issues with transparency.

I only wear tan thru suits when I have to wear something. I've never had an issue with transparency. I did notice that my highly polished PA jewelry did show through the darker ones I wore so I wear a blue ring that matches the suit's pattern when I wear those. My suits are from Kiniki.

I wear tan-through regularly at the textile beach and on my deck (with next door neighbors) and have no problem with them.

Although I would prefer not to have to wear them at all,
my only complaint about them is the cost.
Why are they so darn expensive? Geez.

I only have tan through swim suits. Cool Tan are more opaque and smoother texture than Kiniki. Either feels less confining than a regular swimsuit because they are lighter weight.

The detailed patterns do a good job of disguising what's behind all those holes but cannot work miracles. Shiny metal beneath the fabric shall definitely defeat it while, depending on the pattern, more than a casual glance may allow the eye to focus on the details below. My wife's one-piece suits may allow me to make out her areolae or butt crack if I have a moment to focus, but I don't think a casual glance would detect anything. As a confirmed textile, she wouldn't have worn them if she thought she wasn't disguised enough. With my swimbriefs, I doubt there'd be enough surface area to allow a viewer to focus on the pattern enough to see beyond it. Wearing a shirt, with a large flat area of fabric would make seeing through easier, but that's probably not an issue.

Definitely, the ability of those little holes to pass water as well as light makes for a more intimate contact with the water than with a conventional fabric, while I delight in seeing my wife arise from the water when the sun is low in the sky. Each hole, when holding water, becomes a tiny mirror to reflect the sunlight and the body's shape. A magic effect that lasts a fraction of a second. Do that again, will you?

An alternative to the genuine tan-through brands is Skinzwear's mesh fabrics with similar properties without the tanning claims. While some are solid colours and don't attempt to block the eye, they also have patterns that may fit the bill for opacity. My shorts from them are not completely opaque but I'd be happy to wear them on any beach without raising concerns from the public, at least when I'm without metal adornment -there's no hiding that.

For the ladies, Brigitewear also have some items for swim or resort along these lines, abiet with boutique pricing. Definitely worthwhile if you wife likes them, though. :-)

I used to have boxer swimsuit shorts that were advertised as tan thru. I even wore them on a canoe trip with sister-in-law and her husband. They got a kick out of them but Im pretty sure they were not see through. I dont really think they were tan thru and I still got a major tan line from them. Kind of a waste of money for me.

They claim to be the same as spf 30 to 50 sun block, so if you are not using sunscreen you will get a tan line.

Even if the fabric is tan-through, there's no overcoming the seams and elastic. If anything, I guess they minimise the difference compared to untanned areas rather than eliminating it, but I like 'em for the weight and airiness.
