The Pebble Mine will destroy the Tourist, Subsistance Fishing, Commercial Fishing, Sport Fishing, Eco-Tourist Industries if it is allowed to be developed... that's 5 Industries just for ONE!! I urge all of you to speak out and stop the Pebble Mine! The Gov (and Palin) talked about "Creating Jobs for ALaskan's!, which is NOT TRUE! Half the people working on the North Slope are from Out-of-State! Half of the Lodge Owners are from Out-of-State! Half of the Commercial Fishermen up here are from Out-of-State! Half the Fishing/Hunting Guides up here in AK are from Out-of-State! There's NO WAY that the Pebble mine will create jobs for the Natives in the surrounding area. Everything the State of AK says is just Propaganda! Please help protect the Environment up here in AK for your Kid's kids!
