This is a group for guys who like to be naked to talk about stuff specific to being male and a nudist. So if you are a man who prefers not to wear clothes feel free to join this group and contribute to a discussion. Any subjects are welcome as long as they're clean. why so many profiles with no pics???
Return to Discussionsseems like a lot of men are bashful about showing themselves in all their glory. we are all nudists, all guys, I just don't understand why some of you are afraid to show your manhood. just thought I would ask as someone who is very comfortable in showing all of me.

For me, it is because I am concerned that where else my picture may wind up.
My fears were confirmed recently when someone posted that he saw a picture of himself somewhere else that he had posted on truenudists, and he had no idea how it got there.
My profile is reasonably complete with the exception of pictures.
I do understand that some people feel uncomfortable posting pictures that include their full body and their face where those can be seen by anyone. There are however many ways to be creative with your photography and/or use the privacy settings to restrict who sees it
I'm not here to judge anyone else but just wanted to point out that there are ways of adding pics that are less likely to cause issues if those members that are currently too shy want to.

I think we all know the answer to that question. Im guessing that they are not genuine nudists, but join TN to look at the photos. Mike
i have no pictures in my profile, am nude as often as practical, and am here for discussion, not to look at pictures.
When I first joined this site profiles with no pics pissed me off. Why would you be on this site if you are not a proud, naked man? Now, I understand not all of us have the freedom to expose our nudity freely. You have my empathy.
More than a lack of a profile picture to me is the lack of a profile. Nothing, nada, zip about them, what they like doing, how long they have been a nudist or a newbie nudist. Anything is better than no words at all and they want me to friend them? They need a short course in how to socialize properly. I can deal with no photo (even though a few photos are much better) but I can't deal with no information about them whatsoever.
I think getnaked19 made the most sensible of the responses to the question! Anyone can gain access to plenty of photos of nude people on the web, so I agree that there is little reason to join TN just to see photos of naked folks - especially as "our" naked folks are not doing anything sexual or even very provocative in their photos. If we rule out voyeurism, then, we can consider that the members with no photos have at least some interest in nudism as a philosophy and lifestyle, and as nudists, we ought to welcome that.
