Boners Among Men
Return to DiscussionsThis has, no doubt, already been covered. If that's the case, please forgive the repeat.
Get a bunch of men together and it's fairly likely that someone is going to pop a boner at some point. And, no, it's not guaranteed, but it is likely. However, men do like talking about sex, which frequently leads to boners.
So, here's the question. If you're with a bunch of your male friends and you're all nude, how would you respond if one of them popped a boner? Maybe you'd just totally ignore it -- no big deal -- normal and natural -- would be more surprised if someone didn't pop a boner. Or, , what? How would you/do you respond? If you see a boner, do you have a tendency to pop one yourself? Yawns are contagious -- boners can also be contagious.
What if a guy pops a boner and then sports it around -- calls attention to it? Is that ok or is that crossing a line? If one guy starts calling attention to his boner, do you think that would be likely to cause other guys to pop boners?

Here's my opinion on the subject -- and I recognize that I'm probably way off to one side on this.
I believe boners are normal and natural. They are how male bodies are made. By means of ultrasound, we know that boys have erections and masturbate before they are born. Thus, boners should not be a source of shame or anything to be shocked about. Boners should not cause any affront or alarm. It's just a cock doing what a cock is supposed to do. And I go so far as to say that it shouldn't matter who is there and sees it -- men, women, adults, children, boys, and girls. It's just an erect cock. No one was ever harmed by merely seeing or being in the presence of an erect cock.
The subject of boners has been covered before and there was been both guys for it and others not so for it. It all depends on where and why they happen. If it is among guys that expect it and is "appropriate" for the gathering, then it should not be something anyone should have an issue with it. If it happens at a non sexual gathering, which dohappen, then the individual should take measures to reduce 'showing' it off. In these cases, doing other things, will distract the mind from what is stimulating it and the penis will return back to it's normal every day size.
I'm in a male nudist group that meets once a month. It has straight, bi and gay guys from 18 - 70. We meet at a guy's place with a hot tub and swimming pool. In the warmer months we have 60+ guys. You always see guys walking around with boners. No one gets upset. Many of the newer guys are concerned (nervous) about getting an erection but after they see it's very common, they are much more relaxed.
I frequent Apollo Beach in New Smyna Beach, FL. Yhecrowdthere is mainly older, and often see a lot of older men with boners. My opinion is that elrections are normal. In fact it's a nice thing to see. The bottomline is that naturists beaches are a public place and everyone respects that.
As long as there's good behavior, let everyone enjoy the view.
IndeedIts kind of liberating to stand in public with one and no one cares.
I go to a local men's only clothing-optional resort. Boners are not common (surprisingly so), but when they happen -- they are a total non-issue. Well, someone may make a joking or supportive comment about it, but no one gets upset about it.
It's remarkable how much observation goes on with eyes supposedly averted. Nobody appears to look at anyone. Eye contact happens, but the eyes never appear to drift downward.
Until there's a boner.
Then everyone stares as much as they can without getting caught by the boner owner.
Over the past 6-7 visits to a busy clothing-optional urban spa (on the clothing-optional men-only days) and multi-day visits to two different clothing-optional hot springs resorts (mixed crowds) where nearly everyone was nude, I've seen one prominent semi and no full erections. These settings also have rules against sexual behavior. So I'd say the phenomenon of erections is largely situational, despite the popular belief among some nudists that boners "just happen." In my experience, they happen where they're not strictly prohibited but might be tolerated, appreciated or even encouraged. Otherwise, they generally don't.
As stated, they are natural and common. Those of us that grew up male know that they have a mind of their own, which at first can be embarrassing (shouldn't be but often is) but we learn how to deal with them/it. As for dealing with it that really depends on the individuals present.
Ive always said, dont worry if you get oneworry if you don't!!!
Id love to hang out at the meeting Paul and I would love to meet other men that are of like minds and Also to explore the more I want. I dont mind a real relationship though but waking in the early hours and seeing a lady nude is quite the same thing if you would ask me cause it also takes away the stress of wanting to always be aroused for another sex and imbibes some ability of self control whenever you can control your boner when a woman seduces you then you are already one step ahead of all the woes
