I am traveling in southern India and found a place to get an hour massage for less than $19. I was only wearing a sarong and tank top when I went in. The guy had me strip completely in front of him and then he tied a tiny cord around my waist with a thin gauze like strip of cloth hanging down the front which he pulled between my legs and tucked in the back. He worked his magic with his fingers , moving the cord to work my lower back. When I rolled over my junk hung out the side of the narrow strip. Not really sure why he bothered with it at all. But when in Rome... Very enjoyable hour which my travel sore muscles needed.
