Return to DiscussionsAaaah Spring. longer days and sunshine and finally warm enough temps.
I went out early afternoon and discovered that it felt far warmer than the predicted high. YES! I had a long sleeve shirt and some sweats on and quickly took of the shirt, then it dawned on me, why am i wearing sweats? if it is warm enough to go shirtless , it is warm enough to go nude. And so the ornamental maidenhair grass got trimmed down to expose the emerging daffodils with me soaking up sun head to toe.
Then I rewarded myself with a lawn chair time and the new magazine that came today. Tomorrow supposed to 5F even warmer!
Glorious weather indeed! Loving the warm sunshine here in Alabama. Collecting materials now for a long delayed privacy fence project in the back yard. I finally will be able to take down the blue tarp hung for privacy that allows me only a few feet out on the back porch in the wonderful state of undress that is so appropriate for this season. Too bad I can't build a fence around the front yard. I'd probably mow the grass more often! ~ Jack
