I'm just going to assume you are on the level, just because. Yeah, the way you phrase that comes off UBER creepy. Also, linguistically you have hit on one of my biggest pet peeves. A female human is a woman, and I am presuming you want a human to 'show you the ropes' rather than a dog or horse. When speaking of people the biological gender classification is descriptive. Here are two sentences that convey the same information:

That plane has a female pilot.
A woman is flying that plane.
