Return to DiscussionsI was reclined watching Jeopardy on a warm summer evening. My sofa is next to my front door which was open to the all glass storm door. I thought I heard steps on the porch, and suddenly heard the door shake. I jumped. A couple of weeks ago, my new neighbor stopped by and since he walked i had not heard him until he knocked. I greeted him with a pillow in front of me. He chuckled. This visitor was also one of my neighbors but this one has 4 legs. The new neighbor has some pigs in the woods behind my house,and one of the small ones got loose. He was exploring my porch even to the point of nudging the storm door. I called the neighbor and he came right over to round the pig up. I greeted him in shorts.
Those times when I/we was/were startled while nude, we were in
the backyard and the pool guy or lawn maintenance guy showed
up. I've got more respect for our lawn guy. He always
comes to do the work at the same time, same day. The pool
guys have been hit and miss and I finally got pissed enough I just
hung out naked while they were there. A couple of them
voiced displeasure and being uncomfortable with it and I said ..."
if this bothers you ... THEN COME AND DO CLEAN THE POOL AT THE SAME
TIME AND DAY THAT WE AGREED UPON!" :D
Was caught off guard sitting on my patio late one night by a neighbor fetching an exploring poochie. He had wandered off and came around to the patio with her owner on her tail. She was as startled as me to find a nude man sitting in the cool night air, and apologized immediately, but chatted for a moment or two before going about her way. I see her on occasion in the neighborhood and always get a wave and a smile.

workbench and turned around and hexwas standing there behind me
watching me. I apoligized and threw on my shorts and he acted
like nothing had happened. He again surprised me with a visit while in the barn working on the lawn tractor. I still haven't figured how he walked clear back there. He now occasionally stops over so
I keep a sharper eye out.

if he has not reacted poorly to your nudity, why are you acting like you are doing anything wrong? Next time, just greet him with a friendly hello and visit with him, Your friendliness to a lonely old man would make his day.
I Live in England and most of our houses are a lot closer together than our American cousins. The door to my garden opens from my kitchen and is directly opposite my neighbours door and only about 10 foot separates us, I like to leave the door open in summer for a nice through draught. My Neighbour often stands at his door smoking and I have looked up a couple of times from doing housework or cooking to find him standing there watching me. I normally just smile and say hello.

If he regularly stood over then I suggest he is happy to find you nude. If he wasn't, he wouldn't come but since hd does, why put on shorts?

Sorry this is going off topic but ...
I, too, have had JW's come to our door. I've not answered the door naked but being as we are always naked at home, I have gone to the door and said ... "I am not dressed. Do you still want to talk with me?", they have always left and we don't get JW's coming to the door near as often as we used to.
