I hope not! I live in the Midwest and if I have to crank up the heat in the winter I will lol
HA ... I'd have to disagree. We are naked in cold weather as long as the wind isn't blowing. I've been naked and comfortable being naked in outside temps in the 50's. We were vacationing in Sedona, AZ at aclothing optional B&Bone winter and the outside temps were in themid 40's. I was walking around the property and my wife was on a lounge chair with just a blanket on and reading. We were both quite comfortable. Sometimes all I need is a unbuttoned flannel to cover my shoulders or a pair of socks on my feet and I can be comfortably naked in temps much lower than 83 degrees!
For us at this side of the pond 83 deg F is about 30 deg C. We'd never find that heat in the UK and not often inSouthern Europe. For me 21 deg C (70 deg F) is comfortable. My house is maintained at that temperature for naked comfort. And I've been comfortable outside in lower temperatures - as long as the sun is shining and I'm sheltered from the wind. I've hiked naked in such temperatures without the sun. The activity keeps me warm.
Textile season in Florida is very short: today we reached 90-92F in
north Orlando, FL: even in AC it is tough to keep anything on the
skin. Nevertheless, my first skinny dips were in the Michigan
summer months in the 1970's. Naked sauna's and Jacuzzis' in the winter make sense: I like some chill in the air when walking, and naked walking not much far removed, when you consider walking as one of the essentials to survival (food, locomotion, reproduction) of the species. I would think the range of temperatures for which a human can tolerate nakedness is somewhat lower than 83 F. Wild
