Naked At Home - 2014 / 2024 -

For people who like to be naked in the house...

Called out as a nudist

Return to Discussions

We hosted a party recently where a long time friend says tithe group, "We all know you're a nudist." I'd never told any of these people, but I proudly admitted to it at the time. A couple of days later I reached out to all of the friends that I'd outed myself to to see if I could understand how they knew and to see if they had any questions. None of them seemed put out by it. More of a to each their attitude. But, I bet they would change their tune if greeted the in the buff the next time they come over.

She said that I have made comments in the past that made her wonder. So, funny enough, she called me a nudist not really knowing if I was. So when I admitted to it I caught her a bit off guard.

Well, I guess there are much worse names to be called than a Nudist. If someone where to "out me" as a Nudist I would be honored. Kind of like a badge of honor! Now I am pondering how many of my textiled friends are actually secret nudists but just don't have the courage or self confidence to admit it. In my profession everyone is very hesitant to show even the slightest glimpse of their personal life. Thank you for sharing your story.

I was outed by a boy seeing me through my window and telling his
parents. He told everyone in the school, including the teachers;
his dad told everyone in the pub and his mum (The village gossip)
told everyone else. It cost me a large round of drinks in the pub.
Then everyone was OK about it. That boy did me a good turn because
everyone around me knows.

His mum caught me sunbathing naked a bit later. Guess what - she told all her lady friends time and again. She did say she liked my bum, so no complaints.

Before I got called out by some Atty on the witness stand which I think was a good possibility, I resigned my position. One I didn't want to get called into the judges chambers and two it would cause problems for the Dept I served. Other than that I am not to frightful of being called out but I'd rather it wasn't common public knowledge for business purposes.

You know, I have a sneaky suspicion that many of our friends are in fact closet nudists. The reason I say so is because of the way people respond to the topic of nudism. For example, if I say that I would like to visit a clothing optional beach, people often say that they would like to accompany me.A few days back I was at anEco Hotel (Ecologically friendly) set in a beautiful natural setting in the middle of a Nature Reserve when I mentioned to the management that it would be cool if they set aside an area as a clothing optional space, and they were amenable to the idea.

I don't care if people know. I am so over what others think of me.

To the OP, one way to learn the reactions of your friends would be to greet them nude the next time. I'm not afraid onnot ashamed for anyone to learn I'm a proud nudist and have told a number of friends and coworkers. None have reacted negatively, only a bit anusesmd usually.

I don't care if people know. I am so over what others think of me.Me too.Same for me, life is much easier as a nudist when you don't have employment type issues to deal with, you can choose to be open about being nudists. I don't see anything to be ashamed about being a nudist, I prefer to live naked so am as often as possible, its my life and I chose to live it as a nudist. If I am in the same position as the OP I also confirm that I'm a nudist, its happened, and I don't mind discussing why I'm one.

one of the first times that i was "exposed' as a nudist at work was back in the early 90s. A coworker found out that I was going to Hedonism II in Negril and since he had just been to one of the none nudist resorts in Jamaica knew that i would not be coming home with a tan line. I was a bit taken back that I was outed, but most laughed it off. Now post 50 I will casually mention it to anyonethat I tend to bare all any chance i get.
