Silent Auction ideas
Return to DiscussionsI belong to our local nudist club and this year I was asked to help with our fundraiser event in June. We have these events to raise money for repairs and up keep on our park. This event will have music, food, and a silent auction. My job, and task given, is to dig up donations to use in our Silent Auction. Last year all our members cleaned out their closets, garages,and attics giving us a bunch ofdonations. The results were great and earned a lot of money for our cause. But now, this year, the members are pretty much tapped out on donations. So.......I need ideas and direction. Where can I go and find donations for our Silent Auction? Anybody have experience in this? How do you sort, arrange, and display items once you have the donations? I really need ideas!
how about services? people have lots of different skills and interests. I love to cook and entertain. But loathe working on a car. i have traded a home cooked meal for some car work. As a prize offered at my church's couple's retreat I offered a home cooked meal. it was a hit.So put out the word that people can offer their services for anything from cooking a meal to changing oil, to spring cleaning a home or in the case of a nudist resort a camper. Folks will have fun helping others , get to know things about each other, and hopefully raise some funds in the process.
