looking for a nice place to stay in New Orleans
Return to DiscussionsThe wife and I are going on my first cruise in October. This has been a real eye opener! Tried to get a bed and breakfast, nope! They all require a 3 night stay, we only need and can afford 1. Parking is ungodly expensive!! The cruise line wants $18 a day for y car to sit in a garage. I am not sure but I think it would be cheaper to park in Mobile Alabama and take a taxi to the terminal. Is there a couple here that would like to meet a nice friendly couple, let us rent a bedroom for a night, maybe show us one or two things about your city and let us park our car at your house until we return from the cruise?? Hate the idea of staying in a concrete box (Holiday Inn). The date we need is October 8, 2016 and return the next Sunday.
