Outdoor Nudists
Return to DiscussionsI live in a Condo/Townhouse complex. I am nude most of the time inside but can't be nude outside unless I go up to our local nudist club. I love the feeling of naked outside and sometimes get bummed when I can't do that when home. I see that others have the same issue that I do and some have come up with clever ideas on how to make their patios and decks private. I am interested to see photos or ideas on how they did that. Maybe someone will be able to show me how to make my patio private.
I too am a fan of outdoor nudism but like you I am stuck in a terrace type house, so outdoor nudity is very limited. But the last two nights I have been up on our flat roof enjoying the breeze and odd shower of rain on the naked body. That was until the mozzies found me each night.
I really miss the freedom I had to be nude with nature and friends in Australia.

Before I built my privacy fence up on our flat roof I looked at other options. Outdoor curtains, stand alone privacy screens that are sold almost at every home improvement store. Maybe you could build some frames out of pvc pipes and hang outdoor curtains? I wanted to be outside when it warmed up and nosey neighbors were not going to stop me! LOL

It's difficult to tell you exactly what you can do unless we see a picture of your patio. Are you on an upper floor and how much exposure is there? What are your restrictions for putting things on your patio?
Potted plants are an excellent way to provide privacy and not get into trouble with the management. They also lend themselves to providing privacy without the neighbors wondering what's going on behind that screening or shielding. Plants can block their view by not yours.
We've discussed this for our future home that may be a condo by the beach. It would have to have a balcony/patio, on an upper floor ... preferably the top floor, and our ability to put some potted plants where we could exit the condo in a robe but once we are seated, we could take the robe off and sit comfortably naked without being seen.
It can be done ... just takes some money!
