Naked At Home - 2014 / 2024 -

For people who like to be naked in the house...

I live in a shared house, and spend all my time in my room nude, but when going to communal areas, I put clothes on out of respect for other tenants.

RE:shared house

Have you discussed nudity at home with any of the other tenants you live with? You may find out that there may be one or more who, like you, like to be nude around the house when the rest are gone. They may think they are the only one that like to be nude, as you do, not knowing they live with others that also like being nude when possible. Might not be such a bad idea to speak with each one individually/one on one to get their perspective on how they feel about it. You may find that there are others that, even though they might not desire to naked much around the house, that they won't mind if you do when you feel like it. It could open up a few possibilities for you if you did.

RE:shared house

The only person I share my house with is my wife. She doesn't participate in getting naked, but fully supports my doing so. And things seemed to have gotten more exciting lately.....

I love with wife also and I go nude as much as I can we have tennants living in back of house but unless they look into my window can't see me

Isn't this the case with nudism in general, and probably the biggest things to slowing the growth of nudism.

I deliberately don't tell anyone about my nudism because I *know* what the reactions will be. I do wonder sometimes if I'm right or wrong.

For me, the answer is to drop hints and see what the reaction is. You can usually tell whether it would be positive or negative from quite subtle hints.

I'm lousy at picking up hints, so I can't use the subtle approach. I just make it clear that I'm a nudist, and dislike wearing clothes. If they're not bothered, then I'll go nude. If they are, then I'll stay dressed when necessary.

don't just assume that the others would disapprove more often than not i have found others far more accepting of my lack of clothes

But do you know what people think as people who do know I am a nudist aren't bothered over it, and in one case the lady said that people been nude in the garden is far more common than you think.

Usually just in general conversation you can discover if someone is open to nudism, without getting into particulars. When someone is disgusted with guys going shirtless and they think that is vulgar then obviously they are not open to nudism. My sister is okay with her grown sons to walk around her house in their underwear when they visit. Her only stipulation is no briefs. Boxer-briefs or boxers. No nudity either.

So it really isn't difficult to gauge someone's temperature about nudity. My relatives know I am nude at home, but they don't want to see me nude, so they always call before visiting.

I had this with one of the women at work. She went "ewe" when I mentioned taking my shirt off no the beach. Pretty much stopped the conversation there :D

During the summer I was walking the dog with just shorts and sandals on through the local village when a fellow dog walker who I know said I was a case of indecent exposure and he is heavily involved I think with the village church. He could have been joking when he said that as the way he said it.

It really is scary and an eye opener to observe different people's perception of what is and isn't decent. Some really do think that going without a shirt is indecent.

The problem that nudists have is that their perception is different, and remembering that other people think different is not always easy
