Return to DiscussionsI was wondering. I am the only nudist at home and when I do go nude, I keep a pair of shorts near by in case someone comes home or wakes up. While I was watering my backyard, I kept my shorts close by even though I know my youngest would not be up any time soon and no one else is home.
How many other nudist do this at home or where ever?
Unfortunately, I need to wear shorts in the back garden to get to the private area, so I always have some near by.
I did have a shorts and t-short stash in the hall in case someone comes to the door, but the first time that happened I spotted the error in the plan. Our front door is glass LOL
While a couple of my neighbors know I prefer not to wear clothes at home, I am also not into shocking anyone for the sake of my nudist convictions. Those textiles are a strange lot indeed. I don't understand them, but I also would not like to be the butt of their jokes, (pun intended). I always keep a pair of shorts handy to answer the door with. Now if they were to walk right into my backyard unannounced that might be a different story!

Having been empty for a number of years, we now have neighbours to our right. The property has been neglected and so they now have a lot of work to do (FAR FAR more than they expected)
They have asked if they can use our property for access, which we have agreed to provided they give us sufficient warning. The last bit they're not always good at. My point of view is that if they come into our garden unannounced then it's their problem not ours.
They've already fitted roof light windows on our side of their property without asking, so we've already dropped hints that if they look out of them, they may not like what they see. I don't think they can see out of them anyway, but we'll see.........
They should have asked before they put windows looking into your back yard but it will probably embarrass them more than you lol
True, and when we saw them we were not impressed. However, this is a single story garage converted to a bedroom and these sky lights are quite high up on the roof, so we don't think that they will be able to look out.
Just to be safe, Mar did say to the wife of the couple that if they did see out that Mar would have to be more careful about what she wore in the kitchen LOL
Agree with your attitude 100% AntaresMiraSun. It's obviously very comfortable for most of us to be naked/nude (pick your term) in our homes and outdoors most of the time. But we really do need to be aware of the attitude of much of the communities we are in at the time. There are some places in which relaxing or walking nude are just not expected and to be found that way is likely to be cause for you to occupy a small holding cell for a while and maybe get a life-time label none of us want. It would be great to not have to worry about what others think of us being nude anywhere but that is just never going to happen for most of us. Such a shame. . .
